Hi Guys,
We might be panicking over nothing, but having left behind the slopes of Pamporovo due to bad snow conditions in 2007 and 2008 we headed to Andorra in Jan this yr and have booked again for the end of Jan 2010. I've been keeping and eye on the snow forecasts and there seems to be very little snow at the moment. Is it too early to be worried or should we be ready for a rubbish season???? Thanks Nix |

yes Ally G that's the one.
The reviews from their others look good- but wondering just how basic they are as some reviews make it sound like it's not going to live up to the pictures!!!! |

Hi everyone,
My partner and I are off to Andorra in January. It's the first time we have been skiing alone-we usually go with friends. We thought that a night in the iglu hotel might be quite romantic. We looked at the prices and it's quite pricey- but would be worht it if it's going to be a good experience. Has anybody on here stayed there before and if so any comments that might help us decide whether to book it??? Thanks |

Hiya,
We've just booked our ski holiday for 2010. We're off to Andorra again- but Pas De La Casa this time. Went to Soldeu last year and Pamporovo the 2 yrs before that. In Pamps 2 yrs ago I had 2x 3hr snowboard lessons and loved it. So last year I bought some snowboard boots ( am a skier really by the way ) ) and hired a snow board just to have a play around really. Anyway I was rubbish- and I mean really rubbish- so gave up after the first morning!! Doh! So i'm looking to book a couple of hours of lessons in Pas...any particular suggestions anyone??? I mean for where to get the lessons, and maybe good practice slopes?? Cheers, Nichola |

Hi Guys,
I'm new to the forum ....so helloto everyone! :D We're 5 regular skiers who have previously gone to bulgaria but have decided to give Andorra a try. We've decided to try boarding this yr as well as skiing- having had a taster last year. As we're an odd number (2 couples and a single) we found it impossible to find accomodation in a package deal so we've booked and apartment http://www.stayinsoldeu.co.uk/3.html right near the gondola in soldeu. I've managed to organise flights , chalet and bus transfers but am struggling a little with boot/board hire and lift passes. We've always gone to the smaller, independant shops- the snowshack in pamps is brilliant by the way! . WOuld anyone be able to recommend somewhere we can get lift pass and hire boards- even a hire and lesson deal ( they're pretty much offering a free lift pass with 5 days of lessons in the package holiday deals-which would be lovely!) Thanks for all the advise i'm sure i'll receive.... oh, one last thing....our apartment is near slim jims . Is that enar the hotel Brussels anyone???? cheers :D |
