Glenshee is probably the furthest from Oban. Glencoe/Nevis are just about equidistant, worth checking out both. If the back corries are open I would go Nevis (personally) otherwise Glencoe.

Maybe I have been lucky but my experience is completely different. Today we had 8 lifts (in all fairness it was snowing but not much wind at all) great run-wide coverage with a fresh dusting. On Tuesday the weather was sh*t, I won't lie. My previous days skiing was the 6th of December and it was a blue bird 'powder day'. In all fairness we hiked for the turns but lifts were operating. Before that it was the 16th of April at Nevis and there was not a place on the mountain where you could not ski. Brucie, if you know Nevis then you will understand how serious that snow is! 15th of APril in Glencoe was a bit crusty underneath but about 10cm fell on top to help freshen things. Skied right back to the car park.
I have also skied, 'all over the world' well.. Europe, Australasia, North America. |

I paid £17 for 8 lifts today. It varies. Is around £20 at Nevis also.
Brucie, you are a disgrace  |
