I think this freshly-squeezed (oo err) thread needs some ice so it's being chilled... and filed on Wikiwhatever under "how two wrong words can spoil the whole Internet".

Group Hug please! 8)
Paul, the resto at the bottom of the Pre St Esprit lift (by the road up to 1950/2000) should suit. Accessible by a long easy blue (Cascade - below Arc 2000); has good views and a big terrace.

Food was good last time I was there but that was a couple of years ago.

Take the train!

From Zermatt website's arrival advice :-

one can simply check luggage and skis directly through to Zermatt, and board a train (under the airport terminal) within the hour...

...hire car might work out better value if there's a group of you though.

The eighth Ski Cross World Cup race of a grueling season took place today in Grindelwald Switzerland, where British Ski Cross Team member Emily Sarsfield, 27, beat world cup ranked number 7, Katrin Mueller and world cup ranked number eight, Jenny Owens, to place 14th, Sarsfield's best result World Cup result of the season and her best result since seriously injuring her knee in 2009.

"What an amazing last few days its been and a brilliant result to finish it.
"I had a new coach, Christian for this race and my trusted physio Suzanne, which made such a big difference to my race preparation, on and off the hill.
"With funding tight, I don't usually benefit from an experienced Ski Cross coach!" Sarsfield said after the race.

"Having a coach and physio has only been possible for some of this seasons [Ski Cross World Cup] races thanks to Ladies Ski Club, TASS (Talented Athlete Sports Scholarship) and my new sponsor Lifeboat Tea providing some of the finance to fund them.
"With government cut backs, I don't know if I will be receiving TASS next season, so I'm trying to make the most of it this season." she added.

With funding short across British Skiing, Sarsfield's result is even more impressive in one of the most exciting Winter Olympic sports going.

The Ski Cross World Cup continues with race nine taking place this Sunday, 6th March where Sarsfield will be looking to better her 14th place.
