Obertuern ...snow sure and nice skiing ..they have a little train that picks the kids up in the morning and the weeks before xmas some hotels offer an inclusive deal with the pass. Also 1hour on the coach from Salzburg airport

having done it several times and once from Portsmouth/Le Havre We did L'Havre> Grand Massif quite easily in a day with the overnight on the boat. The N roads were great and we did it this way coming back .. no tolls but slower

I liked Jerusalem and all the runs on that side of the valley

I was there last year and enjoyed both the Sella Ronda and the Madonna areas ..did a week in both..of the two I preferred Madonna ..more interesting runs, but I will agree with Dellaga on his take of the Sellaronda...the only way to find out is to try

don't know about Saalbach's snow record but in Austria Obertuern is pretty snow sure....been a couple of time just before xmas
