Argghh, thanks so much for that.

I spent five minutes looking for Tony's red trousers (he's gotta be there somewhere), managed to get the resort upside down before going into a flat spin and throwing up on my desk... :mrgreen:

Fun though. :thumbup:
Do it! Brilliant. PMSL
So who fancies skiing Everest then?

I dunno... the crevasse is definitely "ski in". Take your point on the lack of ski out though...

Sounds like a fantastic trip Tino - glad you had a good time.

This film shows a novel approach to controlling your speed, although I do get the impression it might have hampered his "self arrest" technique... :shock: :shock: :shock:

From Youtube;

The Man Who Skied Down Everest is a documentary about Yuichiro Miura, a Japanese alpinist who skied down Mt. Everest in 1970. The film was produced by Canadian film maker Budge Crawley. Miura skied 6,600 feet (2000 m) in 2 minutes and 20 seconds and fell 1320 feet down the steep Lhotse face from the Yellow Band just below the South Col. He used a large parachute to slow his descent. He came to a full stop just 250 ft. from the edge of the crevasse.

Eight died during the expedition's ascent.
Tignes, Zermatt and Hintertux should all be open for starters, although the area skiable will depend on what happens between now and then...

Keep an eye on the snow reports and book when ready!

But of course - doesn't every self-respecting ski site admin? I wish... must have a go one day!
Far Queue wrote: :twisted: Will the forthcoming updates to the email reports resolve these issues?

...might do... :wink:

It's being sorted...
