Theyve arrived!!! Girlfriend and daughter are off to Lancaster with 1 w/t and Ive got the other. There going to stop at certain places and see if they work. Funny as hell, picking up other peoples reception and daughter is howling and embarrassed that she has to get out of the car to test them. Told her its better reception if you stand on 1 leg :mrgreen:

Dont really want to go to France but La Tania is very, very cheap for the 5 of us. We would be going Self/C and its an apartment for 7 people which would give us abit of room. S/C would save us a fortune as we could take a shed load of food with us.

Anyone got any info on this place? I know its low but it doesnt take long to get to the main parts of the 3 Vallees. Poooh Im tallking myself into this one.

3 miles should be OK shouldnt it?

Only used the tent 2 times.

1st time at Silverdale and it was like being on the set of Shameless. Gangs of kids drunk and it was heaving it down. Tent next to us the owner had a joint and tin of beer and a pit bull! ffs chaved up to the hilt. Tent other side had to many kids to count, the final straw came at 5 in the morning with a kid crying " DAD, DAD, DAD IVE WET ME BED" we packed up and went home.


2nd time was worse.

Yes I won, but i made a mistake. I was slightly drunk on the night in question and they only have a range of 3.10 miles :evil:. On the bright side Im never that far from the better half only when she has a break and I may go off and do a bit extra. Still a bit pi**ed off about it. :evil:

The last time i bought something off e bay i was drunk and bought a 8 man tent. I was that drunk i didnt even realise Id bought it till it turned up at the door and to top it off Id paid for it twice (got 1 payment back though).

Got free helmets when in Arabba from the ski shop we got skis, boots and poles. Dont know what age you have to wear tham at.
