Yep, a few times. Always good.

As long as you're not a psychopath, a good bet is probably a small independent, catered chalet. They'll have other guests you can ski with; and most seem to offer some kind of "ski hosting" nowadays too so you'll have company on the mountain if you want it.

If that sounds good I can recommend Snow Chalet in La Clusaz, who I've stayed with a few times. I think they've looked after a few other J2Skiers too...

More info from the Guardian here.

I think the important bit is this :-
All customer orders are protected by the ATOL protection scheme and equivalent programmes

Definitely worth watching closely though.

Some interesting comments to the article above but I'd think a takeover would be a possible outcome?

Steady... wait for it... 8)

The past few days have seen the forecast models throwing out possibilities that are all over the place; some are cold, some are warm and some have snow... some have lots of snow... but just about every run of every model is showing a wide range of possibilities after Friday.

I think this Thursday's email could be a call to dance!

It all depends... 8)

All the forecast models are struggling to predict what will happen as the blocking system, that's been keeping European weather on-hold for the past 3 weeks, finally wanders off.

Expect the forecasts to be (even) more dynamic than usual until at least mid-week...

Now is the time to be doing that snow dance!
