I got myself a pair of rossignol radicals. Due to my strange feet had to go back a couple of times to get them tweaked. Amazing what they can do, including grinding down the plastic footbed inside the boot to lower my foot.

How much did the toilets cost?

Hire car from geneva, if we get diverted the will be interesting especially if it is chamberry where I guess they don't have car hire?

I reckon it will take longer than the usual hour to get there, but like you say.....it will be worth it :)

Gondola is the quickest route. If you ski there's 2 options. Get the wrong one you end up having to walk through the village - not a short walk! The correct one, just remember half way down the red turn left under the bridge.

I did the gondola mainly as it is quicker and I get to sit down
