It sure does, being an Au pair for only 5 short days makes me ask How do you guys do the "parent" thing!!!! I take my bones and screws out for a ride on my bike to get my butt/knees ready for another season of skiing. IceGhost also likes long walks on the beach and walks in the neighborhood parks  I also attend a lot of concerts in the summer. Time in a mosh pit gets me ready to defend myself while standing in line waiting for the ski lift  |

I am scouring the web trying to find information on the same topic. I and my sister want to move out to Austria
http://www.mayrhofen.at/ I'm not sure how much of a help that will be but maybe we can help each other on this. I know your not looking for M-Hofen but there are listing on the website for people that own flats, hotels, and hostels. I asked them (for those who had email) if they could start me in the right direction. Okay I looked at some stuff a bit ago and uncovered some possible help info@snowtrex.com <info@snowtrex.com> It is a UK/Germany based company that rents out apartments http://www.oehweb.at/index.php?id=3&no_cache=1 This is a site geared towards college kids for apartment flats. These are close to the Zillertal areas. I'm just throwing stuff at the wall hoping it may stick. I also found http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g190445-i792-k281261- Working_and_living_in_Innsbruck-Innsbruck_Tirol_Austrian_Alps.html From Trip Advisor.com. On this site there was another kind soul looking for a glacial valley to snuggle in Q "Hello everyone. I am in the process in getting a work and travel visa for Austria. I plan on staying in Innsbruck to work and ski. How hard is it to find a long term place to stay (about 6 months)? and what types of places are offered ( apparments, houses, hostels)? What are the the average costs for renting per month in town?" A "It isn`t very hard to find a place to live in Innsbruck. The average cost of a Flat is about 500euros per month. But you can make flat share which makes it more cheaper. There are also two youth hostels, but not for such a long stay. My advise for you would be to find a job in a hotel because then you are close to the mountains and you don`t have to pay for food and the stay. It is very hard to find a bar, restaurant, or similar where you can work under the table. Because at the main season the police is watching the companies, so it wouldn`t be very advisable." A "The main source for finding an appartment still is the daily newspaper (Tiroler Tageszeitung). There are also some lists at the main building of the university. But I found a site from the ÖH( this is the union of students) in the internet where you can search for a place. Unfortunately, everything in german. Which is WHY i recommend freetranslation.com ( It's not prefect but it's a start) Here is the link: http://oehinfo.uibk.ac.at/indexstart.html" Usually my stuff is a lot more organized then this :D. I CERTAINLY hope this helps. Prehaps living in Spain you can order a newspaper from Tirol??? That may also help 8) PS HOT CAR!!!! |

Thats' great. while I'm in the comfort of my own little resort I'll have to try pulling myself out of it. What ever will prevent me from splattering my brains on the snow at a high rate of speed is cool with me
