Thoroughly decent chap too.

'tis true.

Any one who skis as well as he does, drinks as much as he does and likes AC/DC into the bargain just HAS to be a geezer.
So this means when I tottle into his store when I drag my sis to Austria with me I'll be making a stop.

What about an old lady in a wheel chair?

bandit wrote:Iceghost, in my experience, when a boot has "canting adjustment" what the manufacturer means is that the upper part of the boot "the cuff" can be aligned to your lower leg.
Footbed canting is serious stuff and will affect the whole way you stand on your skis.

ise, iceghost is a suitable candidate for an expert bootfitter. I know you're sceptical, but do you have bone screws in your feet?

indeed I have a screw head poking out of my foot. It's great at parties Thank you guys so much for all your help!

The time has come to start looking for new boots. I got to try some different brands on my last trip to Austria and I fell head over skis with a honey of a set of Nordica speed machines.

I didn't know about that actually so thanks! I have been in contact with AJ and Jan about this and they are a HUGE help. Now I'm researching real estate agents that work directly with Tirol ( and a few places in southern Germany) Tony I love the suggestion " Go over there!" I'm trying to persuade my sister to come with me in October this year

As some of you may realize I want to move over to Tirol. I'm looking for something between Innsbruck, Mayrhofen, and Kitzbuhel. I have put in a lot of searches for apartments in Mayrhofen and all I'm hitting are holiday packages. For the most part are there apartments in the area that are rent to live in or is it too touristy. I have recently gotten ahold of some real estate agents in the area and I'm waiting for a bite.
Javi I nailed it!!!!! http://www.aboutaustria.org/living/moving_to_austria.htm

There is no real appeal about America for me, especially when you can be off a flight in just over an hour (Geneva from London).
I hope Cleggy has a great time though.

Any reason why America, when there is some much in Europe to ski?
One theory is that the dollar STINKS right now :) It was a bear converting from dollars to Euros/pounds last month
