If fun, and spending time together, is (the most) important and you both like Avoriaz or Flaine, why look further ?

- Book a nice apartment,
- take a couple of chick flick ) dvd's with you (for in the evening),
- sisters lessons in the morning,
- you go skiing in the mornig
- in the afternoon go to a spa
- or go cross country skiing
- or go snowshoeing
- or go dogsledding
- or get wasted in the pub

I see a lot of potential for a fantastic week stay ! :D

Grand Serre Ché is a great ski area. Had a couple of really nice days there during my trip 3 years ago.
which resort?!

I agree with Tony_H. I also think that Montgenevre is OK for 2 maybe 3 days but I personally feel that it is too limited for a week ski.
burning thighs after about 30 to 40 mins of skiing
Started by Bignick in Ski Fitness, 133 Replies, discussing Niederau and St. Anton am Arlb...
I am a keen biker and I had problems with burning thighs after 40 minutes. I had a shoe fitting with at my local bike shop and it appears that the shoes where the wrong ones, so my advice to almost everyone who suffers from these types of pains (during skiing, bike riding etc ...

Check you equipment, shoes etc .. Perhaps it does not fit your bodysize (anymore) etc ...

Driving to Vaujany
Started by User in France, 17 Replies
It is a long drive for one driver.

Indeed it is. When we go to the Alps or the South of France we always take turns. Drive for 2-3 hours, have a break, switch places etc ...

But as always, plan ahead !
