We went to Pila last year and it was cheap - coffee breaks didn't cost an arm and a leg. It's convenient - all the runs end up back in the same place, where the ski school meets, so super easy to pick up kids from lessons. There are several hotels in Pila itself, or Aosta in the valley which is linked to the mountain by a 20 minute bubble ride. I think the transfer from Turin was only an hour and a half. Most runs are easy reds. Nice place, friendly people.

Increased knee injuries related to higher binding settings?

I am going to take on board your advice. I fall every year, at least once, and I can't remember the last time my skis came off as a result. In fact, last year, during one fall, my skis stayed on and the edges dug into the snow and pulled my legs in two different directions  Fortunately due to doing pilates, I'm quite bendy  It never occurred to me to get the bindings reset, but I will think about that next time. In hire shops, I always stress my poor ability and tendency to fall over, but they always smile and do what they want anyway!

Done. You might want to re-think the question about where people mostly ski (Q2?) and allow respondents to tick more than one. Many of us don't stick to just one country.
