I wouldn't fly with them. Period. I never have and I never will. There's always an option...don't go. :D

I sort of admire his brass neck though, but from a distance.

Joaquín Guzmán Loera wrote:Ian, any extra charge seems like a rip off to you. Just factor it in when you are (never) booking your flights and stop moaning about it

Airlines will charge for any extra they think they can get away with, no amount of complaining is going to stop this.

Get over it!!

I don't know what your government is like, but here in the country of the 1966 world cup winners, England, we have freedom of speech.... 8) 8)

If you do a bit of experimenting on the freedom of speech thing methinks you might find a limit pretty quick! )

Not enough freestyle ! (splutter) It seems to me like very little else but freestyle :D

I reckon it's an age thing personally )

Was it the 'splutter' that gave me away? :D

Chuffy wrote:Quick question instead of making a new thread (but on the ski bad subject)

Has anyone been pulled up at the Airport for paying for one ski bag but actually havng 2 sets of skis in there?

I tend to use only EasyJet and Aerlingus to fly to europe (not necessarily by choice - there aren't a lot of options) and so far I've never been quized on the contents of my ski bag- which usually contains shovel, shoes and as much clothing as I can get in as well as skis and poles :D

Maybe I've been lucky but in 25 odd years of using a soft ski bag I've never had a pair of skis damaged in transit.

Thanks for the heads up Pablo. I had a look at the thread - lot of 'angry' people over there :D

I think that I will hold off for a while but I'm still thinking about it.
One of the great things about my job is that I can get access to loads of skis - actually buying a pair .... well thats a whole other ball game

An in depth google suggests that it would have been Corvara, never skied there but did some hiking there in the summer many years ago, beautiful spot!

Glad to see that First Choice's apres excursion names are as cheesy as ever )

edit: Seems as if its not just First Choice, they all call it that.
