Sunglasses are good for sunny and warm days when you dont need a muffler to keep your face from freexing off... but if you wear glasses and muffler, you wont be able to see a thing!
Ive always skied with sunglasses, until recently a realllly cvold day in vail, and i couldnt see a thing with them coz they kept fogging up with my neck muffler,... i also wear contact lenses and those started to fly out the corners of my eyes too then i tried goggles and they were sooo much better. So Id say glasses for sunny days, goggles for snowing or very cold days./. |

Hi, has anyone here been to both Vail and Whistler? We have been to Vail 3 times and since going ther have not been anywhere else as it is so awesome there... but next year we are thinking of checking out a new resort just for some variety. We were thinking of Whistler. Does anyone have thoughts on how Whistler compares to Vail, or a suggestion for another place to try that is as nice as Vail?
I've been to Whistler before as a kid, but that was just for one day (we didnt ski int he resort) but I remember really enjoying it then... Our family consists of some of us strong intermediates, others beginners and some young kids including a 3.5 year old... thanks!!! |
