I suppose that as the Airline was Thomson and they also had their own Thomson holiday customers on board it was something they had to do or create their own headache.
If it was an airline such as Monarch who had little interest in what happens after the plane lands then i suppose things would have been very different.

Don't worry. The roads from france were closed when we went 4 weeks ago.
The TO just flew us into Barcelona and we coached from there instead. Transfer times were the same, around 3 hrs plus a stop at some shitty cafe.

I am not saying i am a slob, i just like to live comfortably without worry of offending someone else. Sharing a house with strangers, even though they may well become good friends, doesn't seem right to me.
I think that if my party of four were stuck with a party of 12 in a 16 berth chalet it could quite possibly end up ruining our holiday if we felt 'outsiders' to 'their' place.

Just my anxious thoughts.
