Tony - i knew you would suggest ADH.

I was really looking hard at Arc 1950, is does look nice but i was worried that it may be 'theme park like' just as peakmonster said. I love theme parks but wouldn't want to stay there!

For 2011 i have narrowed it to la Plagne or Les Arcs. The problem is that i just can decide! And its not helped by the fact that these resorts are split over the different levels.

For those that have been, which would you recommend and why? Which is best for apres, shopping (food ect) and non ski activities? and Ski in Ski out?

The general skiing is not too much of a concern as all resorts are pretty much on top of each other. We just want to choose the right village for what we want.
