I own a pair of Xwing 170's and I'm pondering what ski type may be a little gentler for my return to skiing! I am planning on staying on-piste next season!
Anyone got any suggestions?

Huard.

Where to go for snow in April?

lucky you  that must've been a nice surprise :D

I was in Tignes in April last year and we got tons of snow. It does get slushy but a lot of people don't mind this. Obergurgl is a good shout late season too.

Bear in mind the school holidays. Ours are from 2nd April for two weeks.

Getting fit for skiing

My bench mark is this - as long as I can win the Cornflake box game then I'm still quite fit
Dave, the man!
Work isn't good, mum and dad had a fire in their house today so nothing is normal.
It's been very nice hearing how much you've enjoyed your trip :D

Back on topic - if you could go an extra hour, Susko, late snow is Obergurgl. Not massive mileage but the off piste is, apparently, very good.
Definitely worth a look
aren't we all in a good mood tonight
