Hi,
Not sure about the shower side of things so have emailed Valdinet and put the question of shower facilities to them , I think there is whats the French verison of the Youth Hostel Association with some accommadation in Val ( but could be wrong ) so it may be worth a look also. Will let you know what Valdinet say once I've heard from them. All the best jon. |

Hi,
as you enter La Daille there is a carpark located near the bottom of the OK Downhill run into La Daille ( this is the run you see on Ski Sunday) there is a carpark near the round about that has campervans parked all season long so shouldn't be a problem. As for eletricity supplies i think it's a case of being under your own steam at this one, if you go to the Val D'Isere tourist info website they should be ab to give you more info, or have a look on valdisere.net ( i think thats the correct site but will check ). jon. |

Hi Tino , Congratulations and good luck with the property search.....wish I was in the mountains at the mo.....instead of working to pay for the CNC Punch my business partner and myself have just brought  ...... Hows the situation in Switzerland with property etc , last time i looked you got a lot more for your money than say France and Italy.....mind you they haven't got the Euro to contend with I suppose and I think the job situation is safer also at present. Hello Mr Wickers.... Yes indeed , the last time I checked they had chalets in Whistler , Bad Gastein ( think the spelling is correct ) Bacera Berett (again not too sure of the spelling , but it's in the Spanish Pyranees ) , Serre Chevaliere and a couple of other places in France and Italy. Worth a look though  jon |

Hi All,
I'm glad you are all getting excited about the approaching season.....bit like waiting for santa to come...... I have been watching the Tour de France and the mountian stages always give me itchy feet to get back to the alps :D . I'm hoping to have a long weekend myself at the beginning of September and again in Oct/Nov then onto the winter propper. Should be able to get some slope time in January and then for the last couple of weeks of the season in April . On a different note, if anyone is planning to be in Bourg-Saint-Maurice or Les Arcs anytime , and want to see a really good live band ( they play a good 2 - 3 hour set of top covers ) try and see Mr Orange ( Monsieur Orange ) at the Bazoom Riders Cafe/bar in BsM , you can check the live band dates on their cafes website.....it's a great night. ........oh well back to work now and , and daydreams of the alps :D jon |
