Thanks Bandit...

if we could only get 25 more cm's of snow here in S.W. Quebec. The rain put the kybosh on our XC trails too. I should move to Vernon B.C. or Quebec City.
Good News! The fella that sold me his Nordica Dobermanns fished a pair of not used much Marker 1200's out of his quiver. Yeaozzzza! :D
I'm a die hard film photographer. It works well for me. I just got a fancy Canon G10, it's a sweet camera no doubt but I haven't yet learned to use the programmed settings. I set it to aperture priority and then compensate as usual. I guess as I get better acquainted with the programmed settings. Even on my N90s's I still don't use the programmed modes. New tricks for old dogs? I guess I still salivate when I see a camera with a metal body and an aperture ring on the lens
your camera certainly did make a good job of it in heavy snowfall. I wouldn't have even taken my camera out.
Whoops! I should have checked out your Blogspot before I presumed to give advice.

I'd love to have a week at Silver Star or Big White in British Columbia  .
I found a couple, thanks!

the availability of them are state-side, and by the time I pay the duty and postage on the price listed, I could get brand new here. So I am just waiting for a posting this side of the border.

Thanks! Gar

(I bought a 2nd hand Nikon N90s stateside and when I picked it up, Canada Post slapped a 30buck duty tax on it :x pissed me right off :!:

Sorry Bandit

ask your photographer to set her exposure compensation to at least 1 1/2 stops higher than what the meter is dictating, then we could pick out image's details better. Gar
Thanks gents!

I put a pair of Axial 2's on my Dynastar Cross66 Autodrives and the shop set them at 11. I am over 220lbs and I use to break skis when I was a kid.

I guess you are right, I'm looking for cosmetics too. I'll check out your references, thanx again - Gar

I have a pair of Nordica Dobermann GSR WC w/the plate, that a young (light) university ski team racer sold me. Need a tough set of bindings to put on them, cause I'm old an heavy  much appreciated if someone can oblige. I think he had Rossignols on them. I don't want to spend 200 bucks or more on new bindings cause I don't seem to be skiing much this year, sadly. (Montreal,CANADA -and environs-)
