There have been more than enough warnings about the instability of the snow pack this year and still people ignore and go off piste,
I am not renowned for my empathy so come on folks heed the warnings ….

I have posted this many times …… Passo skiing is very much up and down you will spend more time on the lifts than skiing, the better skiing is down the road in Ponte legno which is connected by piste and gondola ……

Just driven through Megeve and a lot of the lower slopes are looking patchy ….Stay high is my suggestion :thumbup:

After some great dumps of snow and some low temps things are looking great for February ……

To be honest I am skiing in Austria for the last 12 years and is the first time in Italy, and I am sorry to say but is way bellow Austria. Expensive food on the slopes, cues, old and slow cable cars( I cannot understand the reviewers before which said that cable cars are ok - see only the connection between Marilleva and Madona di Campiglio old rusty and not slow but the slowest that I saw ever)
Conclusion first and last time in Italy
