Old Andy - Yes, i think i have. I am looking into it seriously now, the only thing that is putting me off is maintenance really.

Far Queue - Thanks for the links, they are the ones that i saw but could find nothing else.

Bandit - I am hoping to advance pretty quickly now. This dec will be my third week followed by another in feb. I am comfortable on steep reds but hope to progress to blacks this season. I suspect most of my time this season will be on piste but hope to try a little off piste once i am totally happy.
I am looking for a ski that will see me through at least the next three seasons that will bring me on.
Tomorrow i am off to Tamworth to try a few different skis and maybe make a purchase.
From my research i am probably looking for something like the Atomic Smoke which is why these caught my eye in the shop.

Swingbeep - I agree, £400 is expensive, especially for decathlon!

I was looking at the Skis that our local Decathlon have just had delivered for the new season and they had some Atomic Colt TI's.

Looking around online i can hardly find any reference to them at all. They were asking over £400 for a pair so i don't believe they are old models.
They look very much like the Blackeyes.

Ever heard of them?

THANK YOU TONY.

For a while now i have been trying to put my finger on why i wouldn't go back to Andorra in a hurry. That hit the nail on the head.
It just doesn't have the same feel/view does it? You may well be at altitude but it just doesnt feel that way.
