Enjoyed your video, Mr W, all the more 'cos we were driving in Germany a few weeks ago and a colleague said "I think there's a ski resort somewhere round here". Turned out he was referring to Winterberg, which I had never heard of before, so maybe next time work beckons me down that way, I'll get to sample the chilli and chips ! Looked well worth a visit.

Your last sentence answered the question I had been preparing to ask all the way through reading your excellent report. Reith sounds fabulous; yet another place to add to the ever-growing list of places one "must ski" !

This was, and to some extent still is, me; but an Austrian friend I ski with always tells me: "don't worry about the colour: learn to assess the conditions". I'm sure he's right.
