Thanks tino. I don't know what side I'm going to but I can't stop bloomin thinking about my turns . I'm desperate to get back on a tray.

It's funny because I've immediately preferred going sideways, in fact I prefer going sideways on my toe edge, ie: with my back down the mountain. I thought I'd be nervous about that, you never know how it's going to work out do you.

Snowbandit, I absolutely hated falling over on skis but I had no problem with it at all on the board, I'd just let it go and quite often add a roly poly so that I ended up in the right position to set off again .

I'm looking forward to hearing about the Tunnel. Maybe a less exaggerated report than my brother in law's :D
Have a good one
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I use ice after exertion and heat later when relaxing which is what I've been told and works very well for me. Doing it wrong can cause harm.

Don't think about cancelling just yet, be positive until it's not possible any more

Best of luck

yeah, unfortunately when there's 27 with specific requirements (two linked chalets with a certain number in each, ie: families and adults) the resort is one of the last factors . Chalet hotel is a better option next year methinks.

I'm not phased, I will conquer

Not at all. £150, 10:30 - 4:30 including a 20 minute tea break at about midday and lunch at about 1:30 for an hour. It looked like a lot of money to me but it was worth every penny and I'd recommend that no one does it any other way. PSC, I think you really need to be turning to get the desire. I was told to persevere until it clicks and I remember vividly the run that I linked three turns and thought "I know what I did there" and the next run I went all the way down very happily. There is a very obvious turning point (no pun intended).

My boys are very annoyed with us, but they've now mastered skiing so I've promised them lessons in the summer once they've skied in Arabba :D.

let's bloomin well hope so, ay! I'm already eyeing up a board in the snow and rock catalogue I picked up . strangely, as I said, mr-a was not overwhelmed by the prospect but he has absolutely turned. He's no intention of skiing and is talking about buying a board when he's never had the inclination to buy skis, very strange.

He has asked me not to ruin it for him with my obsessiveness. I've no idea what he's talking about
