Well, at least you can breathe again Icy :D
When my kids were little and they had blocked noses I used to use the gelatin Karvol capsules and open them up and sprinkle them on the bedding, by their noses. It seemed to work pretty well. Night, night, sleep well Icy :D |

Swingbeep - I tried using this DIN calculator:
http://www.dinsetting.com/ And concluded that it's pretty impossible trying to pick the right DIN setting. If I class myself as a class 2 skier, which is an 'average/moderate' skier then apparently I should have a DIN of 6.0 However, if I class myself as a class 3 'aggressive, higher speed skier' then I should have a DIN of 7.0. I mean - how stupid is that? If I'm in the 3 valleys I'm faster and more aggressive then the average skier, but if I'm in Tignes I'm slower and less aggressive than the average skier. And - I entered height of 5'10'' weight of 67-78Kg and whatever a size 8 shoe was (sorry forgotten the answer). Maybe I went wrong somewhere? |

Icy - you have to sit with your head in the steam tent for about 20 minutes - you can't have done it for more than about 2 minutes!

Icy - have you tried the traditional steam inhalation method - making a steam tent with a basin of hot water (with something like eucalyptus oil in it if you've got some) and a towel over your head?
Doing that usually clears a blocked nose. |

The Porte du Soleil would be a good idea if Snowbandit is still working in Morzine because we could go and visit her and watch her jumping in the Snow Park :D

Oh dear, Far Queue and Icy - those injections sound really horrible
Icy - haven't you got any of those chocolate mini-eggs left? I'm sure they're very good for man 'flu :D |

Well - most of it has gone into this thread - under the cunning guise of it being a 'research' holiday in preparation for the group one in January  The only thing I haven't described is the chalet we were staying in, in Les Boisses, and it's the same one we stayed in, in October 18 months ago - and I did write a report on that :D |

Snapzzz - I did answer your question - I said I am hopelessly unobservant and I wouldn't notice. And even if someone did tell me I still wouldn't care, as long as it didn't affect the performance of the skis.
When I'm ski-ing I'm much too busy having fun to look at the graphics on anyone's skis - even my own  |
