That came up as a deal for me a couple of weeks ago. Mixed reviews but it looks fine TBH. I decided to hang it out for a resort I liked the look of more, but would probably try L2A some time. I might even have a day out from ADH soon, possibly via Helicopter

Do the whirlybird trip.....do it for me as i regret not going :-(

I think as we get older our sense of fear greatly increases, which is why kids whizz by because they simply don't have that fear yet.
Its not a bad thing, it keeps us safe, especially as we age and our bodies do not heal as quick. I suppose what we need to do is trust our own ability and have faith in that to keep us from harm.

As for helmets, dont get me started!!! Its a matter of personal choice and thats the way it should be. Although I do think beginners should be made to wear them

As it is with Skydiving.
Beginners start with helmets and can only jump without one after acheiveing 200 skydives. Unless you jump in the states then you can wear what you want.

But the problem with Skiing is their is no central body that governs the sport and sets the rules.

Is there a speeding and drinking problem in skydiving?

There are a few that like a drink but in general i was responding to Tony suggesting beginners should wear lids.

L2A always seems to get mixed reviews but never really for the quality of the snow.
As posted it is a glacier resort and high so you won't have any issues there. I think the main complaints are about how disjointed the place is.
Most resorts have the beginners slopes at the bottom and it tends to get harder the higher you go. With L2A it is the reverse and as such some of the lifts can develop big queues in the morning.
I'd definitely go though.
