I think you can camp at the base, but you'd better check on-line to be certain.

Yeah, I was up there by myself for three days in May. Gotta be an early bird for any decent stuff but that suits me, travel alone for a long weekend, ride in the morning and go hiking in the afternoon. They had 12cm of snow last night.

hmmm, somewhere where the sky is blue, the ground is white, the air is thin and the beer is cheap!

Know anywhere?

-take a late late holiday to pick up next years kit for 1/3 price
-fly to cheapest airport
-use train when you get there
-stay somewhere very very cheap, out of centre
-eat 3 mars bars on the slope instead of lunch
-use the money you saved on all that to buy cheap beer to stop you noticing any of it
