That means the end of the season is nye . On reflection, the snow has been very poor in many places this season however, we enjoyed our trips to Obergurgl, Serre Che and Andorra being very lucky with the conditions in resort. Just think of the fun we will all have researching and then booking our trips for next season :D
We will not ski in December this year but move into early January and try a new resort in Austria. February's group trip is likely to be in Italy possibly Sauze d'Oulx, I love Sauze and March hopefully in the Southern Alps skiing some more runs in Serre Che  Anyone, got any plans on the backburner for next season :) |

Ian, thanks. They will need 2-3 waxes and the edges polishing before being put into circulation as they came in cellophane wrap with the factory prep bases. Once done they should pass your vigorous quality control  |

Thanks Ally,
I'm very pleased with them however, I think my photographic qualities need a bit of work  |

Hi Snowy888,
We normally go around the 5th December for a week. In the last three years we have skied every day normally between 9-4 most days, pending weather conditions ie visability and high winds etc. The snow is good this time of year and there is normally the opportunity to ski powder, as from experience, it tends to dump at least once to two times during our trips at that time of the year. We have also had at least one to two bluebird days during that week over the last three years. The temp, although open to change, has been on average -8 at the base. If the weather turns the resort is open to the elements however, there is some tree skiing to be had at the bottom section at Hochgurgl or around the David's hut area to the far right of the piste map at Obergurgl. Hope this helps, it is a snowsure resort so December is a good shout. It has never failed to deliver for us. |
