Glad i`m not alone then ...and I did say 2mm but yes in an ideal world ones toenails would be neatly manicured before going..but I am a bloke, anyway its a random tip

Random Tips for Beginners ..take nail clippers for that extra 2mm in your boots...plus you dont have to find out what the word for "nail clippers" is in the local language

interesting I was no good at all and really didnt expect to be.. just did it to be part of someone elses life ...but talking about pride... I am so proud I skied a black run (very easy and not icey) last time I went ..but did fall over many times trying to learn on previous trips and did get to the point where I gave up ..over and over ..tell him to "take it like a man"

dont even mention bulgaria..broke my shoulder ..she said "get up and take it like a man!" I skied another 6km to the bottom went for a drink.. then went to the medical centre who said it was broken .Overcome with remorse she bought me some chocolates and said "I`m still skiing tommorow"

I started at 49 after marrying my lovely wife who had skied since a child ...I hated the idea but said I will give it my best go and if I give up then dont blame me..
First trip to austria was a nightmare but strangely liked it.. second trip to whistler.. GOT LESSONS.. things got better.. last trip to andorra lessons again and can actually do it.. love it ..hooked .. never thought I would be a skier |
