Its snowed all the way down to PDL so it looks like most runs will be open dreckly.

Should be ok. I have been a number of times from Xmas/New Year and late Jan and touch wood all has been well. There are snow cannons around and they do move the snow around if there are any problems. and as you can see the glacier has tons. If all else fails, an afternoon in El Bait tasting the great beers will keep you going.

You will at the very least have to keep changing the bindings to fit who evers boots if that makes sence. Also the bindings may not be suitable for him.

You'll all have a good time. You can do some confidence stuff with the boss with a couple of desent cruise blues which she will want to do all day long. Get her in ski school as the guys are great and they do try and get the newbies up the glacier even if its just for a look as you can get up and down on the cable car. As others have said, when you get bored you can get down to Ponti L. PS its snowing.
