I went to my physio class last night and we were talking about it. A very experienced skier told me he had one acl replaced and then skied 11 months later which was fine. He's just had his other one done and will only have 9 months until March and, knowing how the first one felt, isn't going to risk it this season. My physio also said she thinks I'd be better off waiting until Tignes in April. What she has suggested is that I wait until nearer the time and see how it is then. I've got Dave's words about his friend skiing La Grave 6 months after the op ringing in my ears but I just don't think I can be anywhere near as athletic as she is! So, unless I can do a last minute thing I'm going to have to give it a miss. :cry: :cry: :cry: 2010 anyone??? |

So I think we can agree that the moral of the story is drag yourself back on piste this year and go with direct travel next year!
