I did buy yesterday Boots Soltan extreme face and lip protector. Tube of cream and in the lid a lip protector stick. And it was BOGOF. Gave OH a tube, the look on his face said it all. He's adamant he wont need anything.
From what I do know on Autism/Aspergers agree with Trencher the clothing aspect is so important, they do not express so freely whether they are hot or cold. Possibly some more protective gear ie wrist guards etc as they do not express pain so freely, and could be skiing with an injury. Also I would pick the quietist times and slopes as some-times actions of others and the fact that they are disturbed in what they are trying to do can cause distress.
I expect you know all the help and guide lines, but there are some useful tips on the National Autism sites, with guides to dealing with almost any scenario.
Good luck and hope He/she enjoys the experience.

We hire in resort but have already paid for carriage for our boards. Have paid for holiday in full now and they have sent receipt for full amount, not added any extra charges on.

To be honest I eat very little on a flight, I am too nervous a flyer. But have probably been spoilt by always flying Austrian Airways, there food is gorgeous.

Has any-one flown with easyjet, are they OK. Just found out to to-day Inghams have switched my flights to Easyjet, with buy meals on board. Do you think we should be reimbersed as we were booked BA with in flight meals.

bandit wrote:Rose, for -20 and below, I think you will need a balaclava. Even if you manage to find/make an oil based foundation, and get some high altitude sun cream (which has less water), you risk damage to the minor blood vessels in the face, as the skin contains water.

Have sorted out balaclava's, ruins my hair but think its neccessary. I will do more research on cosmetics. I pride myself at getting to my age with not a wrinkle or blemish on my skin, but put it all down to constant use of cosmetics meaning that my skin has never been exposed to the elements.

How cold is it going to be in Lapland?

-20 at least but very possibly -30. Especially when we have some evening trips on snowmobiles planned.

Ive just polished off a bottle of Calloway Crossing Cab Sav/Shiraz, very nice too.

I have a bottle of bubbly for me and Hubby later on.........a present from work for achieving every-thing I was supposed to, and pulling in a bonus for the entire store from Pharmacy alone.
