RossF I have not seen snow like that in this country since I was about 8, many years ago. We were virtually snowed in and could not get to school
My Husbands family come from Sheffield and they some-times have snow in Derbyshire. You are so lucky

getjim wrote:There was a huge dump of snow during the men's downhill from Aspen yesterday. The change of light conditions from sunny to flat also affected the times dramatically. Bode Miller was odds on favourite to win and ended up nearly 2 seconds off the pace.
Off to watch more downhill from Lake Louise now.

RossF will spam you with Rick Astley for talking about that

I used to think that before I moved here. Could be has all the right things but just is not.
We have one of the biggest drug problems, prostitute probs, mental health probs and alcohol probs in the country. So the crime rate is pretty high.

My sister used to live in Hastings for 30 years it got so bad there that she decided to move to Lincolnshire, even in Norwich we have a red light district, reasonable priced I might add ( I do joke ), a death in the city centre not 6 weeks back. It is certainly troubled times.

Bournemouths biggest brothel was right opposite my previous house and the police used my house for surveilance. The night they did the raid I watched it out of my bathroom window, It was hilarious, people in various state of undress, I was dying for it to be some-one I knew
The sad problem around here is the young girls who are drug addicts and they use this way to pay for drugs. It is so sad and they are not safe, I see them every day with cuts, bruises and black eyes. I work sometimes with a support group for these girls.

Not brave just easily led. Plus the promise of a nice trinket in the jewellers if I did it.
