Do ears count as bobbles? It does have bobbles at the end of the strings. It hasn't been taken skiing yet. Only bought it at the weekend. |

I missed that one. Being in work with few windows means I miss all the fun :-( |

The first year I went was fine until you got to the bottom of the slopes. The second time got a little slushy in the afternoons near the bottom of the slopes. Neither time did it come close to ruining our trip.
I'm hoping in January this year it will be better. Previous trips were later in the year. Just in case I am making sacrifices to Ullr, daily, from now until we go. |

Can't remember any stand out lunch stops, sorry. You could try asking on the Sauze Online forum. It's just starting to get posts again for the winter. http://www.sauzeonline.com/forum/
I'm not a fan of Paddy's, I prefer Ghost bar myself. Paddy's iscan't be beaten for lively though. Their constant canvassing ensures they're definitely the busiest. For an evening meal we like del Falco for traditional fare. The place opposite Paddy's (can't remember the name), a wine bar/creperie also has a more extensive menu and is a favourite of ours. |

If weight isn't a problem I'd pack plenty of books.

We're in Sauze in January for the third time. Getting excited now :-)
I agree with Tony, you'll have a great time Adrian. Sauze is very sociable. You're bound to meet up with fellow minded skiers. |

That's a brilliant view from a webcam.
Unfortunately the ones at Sauze don't give such a wide angle or depth. I do keep an eye on them as we get closer though. http://www.sauzeonline.com/webcam/ If there's snow cover on the Clotes camera that's a good sign :-) |

Thanks Alistair. I've ordered it too. Not sure I will need it but it can't hurt :-)
