Thanks for all the advice. Not sure if we're going to get over this Summer. So I've promised myself a visit next Winter for definite if not. It's just squeezing it in next to a 'proper' ski trip :-S

As for ski and swim, the sea in Cyprus is far too cold for me at that time of year. Brrrrr.
Up at 7am....i'm on a mission.

I've had stuff from this sale in past years, still with the price label attached.

Thanks for the link Bandit.

Has anyone any knowledge on the quality of Armada's ski jackets? I've never heard of that brand before.

The information on average snowfall, months open, etc is nearly as good as the piste map. It's very hard to find any concrete info. I'm digging to try and find the best time to go for snow.
Anything I don't need to hand, in my pockets.

Water, extra tissues, camera, spare map, extra layers and croissants. Due to the croissants I left the slippers out. Pipe's ok as long as it's in a grip seal bag. I hate bits of baccy at the bottom of my bag.

The only bits I really want are the camera, water and extra layers. The rest is there cos I've got space now.
Mine is rather small. Surprisingly flat to my back and has a lovely lime green flash. With a lack of strappy bits. Obviously I went for technical details and not the pretty colour ;-)

It's made my pockets much easier to manage.

Has anyone ever skiied in Cyprus? I know it's a very small area with a short season but I wondered if it's worth a day trip into the mountains if you're already out there.

+1

That going out with the better skiers brings my skiing on. So to stop worrying about holding them up and get on with it.

A rucksack is a bonus rather than a hindrance and a well designed one didn't have me stuck to a lift as I feared.
