Well Im the newbie to the forum and one of the Canucks!
Im Lisa, I am working to become a certified yoga instructor...but have had a bit of a setback with a knee injury..so Im still working on my studies and waiting for surgery. Also I work my small 10 acre hobby ranch that keeps me very busy ,my other passion besides skiing is my horses...love them and galloping around the mountain trails! Have an old siberian husky too. I enjoy spending time with my family, have an 8 year old son...who can out ski me already...cant get him out of the trees and jumps!!! I Love boating on our beautiful lakes in the hot summers, camping, music and having fun with our friends....and of course skiing :D |

We do the same thing Brad,Pull our 8 year old out of school to ski )..so worth it to ski without lineups. They dont seem to mind here in Canada (well BC &Alberta anyway) if the kids miss school for skiing.
Infact they HAVE to take ski lessons in grade 5 here for school gym class..they haul the kids up to the mountain and give them lessons. |

3 sleeps to go for us..than we take off for a 4 day stay up on the mountain at sunpeaks. Really looking forward to it,love staying at the Delta hotel and its so nice not having to drive home after skiing....instead just sit in the hottub :-)
Snowed last night and going to keep snowing till we leave...perfect timing! Have a great time everyone who is going on ski vacations this season! |

wow! 12 week break in the usa,I didnt know that! In Canada it is 8 weeks (july and Aug.) but kids do get 2 weeks at Christmas and 1 week in march for spring break. Skiing is so good for kids.Great family sport..just too bad it is so expensive. |
