Lift closing times?

From my understanding is that they are staggered from 4pm to 4.45 so peeps can ski back from linked resorts

If lifts close at 4.30 then the staggered lift closing effect would mean than we would all be skiing with a head torch ;)

Which reminds me....... <nips off to start a new thread>

I think Admin should have an Apres Ski part of the site where we can wibble to our hearts content

I agree, i thought of asking if we could have a 'general chat' board but i am sure that if that was what he wanted it would be there by now.
new year skiing

New year is quite early in the season and if booking in advance you really need to look at resorts with skiing above 2000m to be really safe. There are many resorts that are lower than this but have excellent links to higher skiing but if you can try and find one high up.

Andorra gets great reviews for beginners and in fact my first time was in Arinsal. They have lots of gentle slopes and the Ski school are mainly english speakers with outstanding reputations. Its quite cheep too.
If you did choose Andorra then Pas de la Casa would be the best choice as it has a reputation as a party town.

When I saw the post title, Snapzzz - I thought you had decided to give up on Snapzzz Minor and condemn her to a life without skiing hols.

lol, noooooooooo. She has developed a taste for Roxy now.
I was just thinking that.
Surely for it to strip back completely like that it MUST be the effect of early season conditions. I think i remember a few discussions about this back in early december that this kind of event was on the cards.

Awesome.

Those marmottes trip me up a couple of times too.
Is that grass or rock that has been exposed?
Girls being girls and not liking to wear the same jacket from season to season little Snapzzz has a lovely Tog24 ski jacket going spare.

Its in lovely condition, she only had one weeks skiing in it. It has a detachable hood and all the usual features such as lift pass pocket, powder skirt, goggle pocket...blah blah blah.

It cost me around £60 last year but seeing as she is growing and developing a poor attitude when it comes to wasting money i don't see her wearing it again.

So its up for grabs.

I don't want much for it, just something to give her really for some extra pocket money. We were going to put it on the next car boot sale but i would rather see it grace the slopes once more than be wrecked by a eastern european illegal immigrant around the estate.

So its yours for a tenner + postage.

Bargain.

Heres a pic.
