You are absolutely correct.

It is not respectful to divert a topic so excessively.

What I have gained from J2Ski ....

I now know what WIBBLE means

I wonder if Admin would lend me his axe :?:

I think admin has given up, wibble has escalated massively recently and personally i think it makes us what we are..........

Can you imagine the nights conversation if Icy and Ally were to hook up?

It is.

Its amazing the difference true darkness makes to the night sky, sadly there are few places in the uk that now enjoy the absence of street lighting. Sometimes when we go camping we catch a glimpse of stars and it is outstanding.

If you're looking to save money and you're all beginners then think carefully about which lift passes to buy. Some resorts do cheap beginners passes (because you'll probably only be using a few lifts), and some TO's do a cheap deal for beginners including ski and boot hire and lessons and ski passes.

Ally

Ally is quite right but i have noticed that many tour operators do not offer deals/bundles and beginners packages at peak times.
The lift pass point is extremely valid though. Mrs Snapzzz has had full passes at every resort up until my last trip in Flaine, which is such a waste as she hardly uses it. In the Grand Massif you can buy a pass with 'points' on it. So for £20 she got 20 points. Some lifts were free, some required 2 points and some 5 points. She generally played on the drag lift at 2 points and the pass lasted her all week.
There is nothing to stop you buying something like that on a daily basis until you find your feet, many resorts have free lifts for beginners and you will probably be using them for at least two days so why pay hundreds for a pass that simply won't be used?

I quite fancy it but i know how disorientating a white out can be, i am wondering if they compare.
I would like to be high up, in the dark and see the stars. The stars are stunning somewhere really dark.

Inspired/reminded by another thread i was just wondering if any of you guys had done the old skiing in the dark trips that are always available in resort?

Whenever we go away there are always evenings advertised where you can get a late lift up to a mountain restaurant, take a meal and ski back down in the dark (possible headlamp) and i have been tempted.
It's never happened for me because my gang are less that able in full daylight but i would like to try. Although i imagine it to be slightly weird and very cold.

You tried it?
