I know Dave, at the moment I have been offered another job, I have until New Year to decide. Plus I could take my hols when I wanted.

Actually my OH is the opposite to most men, when he's not well he just goes so quiet. He does not say whats wrong as I try to give advice. When I run through the possibilities of whats wrong, he just says 'a bit' or 'maybe' or 'I think so', thats even more annoying. :lol:

No sorry its something all men have. Its strange all my customers this week, the women have bad colds, the men have flu.......so strange :lol:

I broke my big toe, many years ago, dropped a frozen turkey on it. The whole of my foot went black and it was incredibly painful. At AandE they just taped big toe and second toe to-gether. No way would I have been able to ski. Several years ago I broke my little toe, stubbed it while surfing it bruised and was a bit painful but nothing that Ibuprofen did'nt sort. I suspect its not so bad with the smaller digits but the big toe a lot more probs.
I would definately get Xrayed to confirm and hopefully all will be well in a week. Keep the Ibuprofen going and try some arnica to bring out the bruising.

They actually have one of those over the cliff tops in The Isle of Whight.
