Where to go in Andorra
Started by User in Andorra, 37 Replies
I am pretty sure one of us is over there at the moment. Snowb4bit is her forum name. I am sure she will be able to help when she gets back.
Welcome to the forum.
Your paintings are lovely Dave. I can not paint to save my life but I do loads of tapestries and needlepoint usually all snowy scenes and mountains. It makes my day if I can find a tapestry of whatever resort I am in. So hope I can pick some up in Finland.
Advice please.

Its where my Hubby wants to go, he wants a change from Austria. But I am terrified of flying so try to opt for Europe, shorter flights and transfers. But am gradually building up my flying hours, so maybe next year.
Advice please.

I am well known for falling over, even in this country in good weather, I will trip over imaginary twigs and cracks in the pavement. I have had some of my worst falls not while skiing just walking around. My Hubby says I need to invest in chains or crampons to stop me breaking my neck. I have got good walking/hiking boots so I dont know if they will be beneficial. Which ones should I go for? and are they easy to walk in?

Ok, we have to eat out, but for 2 weeks in ski utopia, dont think its too bad. And I would challenge anybody to DIY for anywhere near that price.

Anyone been to Panorama?

That does'nt seem to bad a deal, especially for two weeks. Got me thinking now
I personally have no experience of Bulgaria, but from reviews and forums reports its not a place I fancy.
My Son is well used to lads holidays abroad and a group went to Bulgaria, not sure where tho' and not for skiing. Their verdict, never again. Their words were like scary....intimidating.......unsafe......dodgy food.
If you can change your holiday I would definately opt for The Alps or Finland. Somewhere that is more family orientated.
Thats just my opinion of the place, but I am sure I have read reviews that some people love it. Let us know how you get on.
