February ideas

Depends on the resort and who goes there I think. You need to check your dates against local hols. Most of uk has a half term this year which clashes with some FR hols, some Fasching in AT and Carnivale in Italy. Scandinavia can be a good bet but good to check their hols too. Went to hemsedal once when it was Oslo half term and it was rammed
Question About Boot Size

Blimey. What's Mike done to upset people? I don't think Mike is saying that your boots should be loose. He's merely saying that for most people you don't need a super tight or uncomfortable fit (which I think is sensible). The rough guide he mentions in relation to boot length is a reasonable one (noting that it's a rough guide and therefore not the only factor to consider). And he's recommending the OP to see a boot fitter.

Swap-and-lock - job done
The last two years have been poor for snow in Morzine (IIRC), but let's hope that this year is better.
So anyone booked their first trip yet?

Try posting your question on Snowheads. There's a bloke on there (Tatman) who lives in Saalbach. He'll know about the bus. In the meantime, try this little lot: https://www.saalbach.com/en/service/info/skibus-nightliner

Probably off to La Thuile in Feb. Went there many many years ago but cannot remember much apart from it snowing for a week. Hard. Recall that the red back to resort was like a half pipe at the end of the day and the 2 blacks back to resort are proper blacks but we'll groomed. Anyone got any tips on decent blues to warm up on and reds to graduate on to? Is the way to la ros well marked? Any favourite runs or ones to avoid?

I recall apres being quiet but it was a long time ago.
