hey tino,
Will probably get there on the saturday morning as we are going by coach (fun!) from sheffield so it will take a while. Having never been to Mayrhofen or the Tux, I am looking forward to it after all the rave reviews on the forum.

Ramdomly I read that in one large town in England, they have banned Santa Claus as he is not multi-cultural/multi-religious enough. He is now known only as 'Christmas Man'!!!

In a Top Gear stylee.......

Some say that the government consults him on travel logistics,
Others say he gives them rubbish advice because the country has no fun!
All we know, is he is called Christmas Man

Apologies to a lot of the Americans as Top Gear references may or may not be as amusing.

Saying that, my mum and dad are mid 50s and have just come back from trecking the sahara and are off to Patagonia and the Andes in March so hopefully the active genetics will kick in at some point later in life.

Watching older people ski is pretty cool and skiing is definately one of the only sports/hobbies that can be done by pretty much anyone.
Bulgaria gets my vote then!

Well I bought this lovely one-piece number off eBay for £6.50 and have been using it regually for comedy uni racing at the weekends. They are so warm and its genuine 90s Quicksilver! However, I have been getting quite a few dodgy looks. Question is, should I take it on holiday?

Hi RossF,

The Blackeyes were my top choice for a while because of the larger waist (78mm) and they have had some great reviews for edge-to-edge carving as well. I can pull a few good spins in the park but only really spend about 4 or 5 runs in there a day so not sure if it is worth getting a large waist like the blackeye. Have you riden this ski before?
