Ah yes, C&A skiwear, branded "RODEO" as I recall.
 My Scotts will be replaced this season and they have been excellent. Had about 12 weeks out of them; were very warm and dry. |

As has been said by other posters, its decent stuff at a good price and generally carries a lot of useful features.
If it fits you well its hard to see where you could go wrong really... |

Seems to be a lot of the usual red and black with a fair bit of white, as has been the case for a few seasons now - very safe and as you know, what I tend to go for.
The flashes of orange, green and bright blue that emerged last year are also about again I see. I think brights look good, but not if they are all used together - some of the Westbeach stuff you mention looks hideous in my conservative, past-my-prime opinion... ) |

I don't think its an item you can skimp on tbh.
By all means if you can find a bargain in TKMaxx (such as your wife's pair) but gloves really are worth spending a fair amount on.I wouldd say leather palms are a must, as is a good degree of waterproofing. |

I generally prefer black and white photography - I like the "grainy" look you can get with it.
I'm not sure when it comes to snow/skiing themed stuff though. Theres something about the blue skies contrasting with the white of the snow... Maybe its just because the weather in the UK is usually so dreary and its uplifting to see a "proper" winter scene. |
