What do you want from a ski hill? Forget Killington-East coast snow is sh*t. Personally I'd head to Jackson although I don't think their chances of haing 2 epic seasons in a row are great soo maybe Altabird would be a laugh or perhaps an extended stay in Revvy.

No point painting the thing. Stickers would be the best way to do it otherwise you are wasting your time.

Spent a day in Kicking Horse after about a metre of fresh in 3 days. I don't think I need to go into many more details. Blower pow. Pillows. Tired legs.

I wear silk thermals and have not encountered this "knob itch" your husband speaks of.

I've flown through terminal 5 and they lost both my bags (30kilo roller bag and 2 pairs of skis/boots) that was on the day they opened). Terminal 5 is great though, nice bar just as you go through security round to the right for a good glass of wine etc.

I like BA despite the bag problems probably one of the best airlines i've flown-fully flat beds in Business aswell!
