I'll be in Arosa next week and keen to see how the resort's dynamics have changed with the link to Lenzerheide.

It's a long shot but will any J2ers be in town who fancy meeting up for an afternoon or morning ski?

I've used the Otztal shuttle; it's not a public bus service, it's a coach transfer for which it's best to pre-book.

March 19 is not late; the third week of April is late. The third week of March is my favourite time to go. Tignes and La Plagne will be in full swing.

We're looking at buying a holiday flat or duplex on the Costa Tropical and one of the advantages would be the proximity to Sierra Nevada. So any more recent updates on the resort would be very much appreciated.

It is exactly what you need; I'm note sure I've been to a better resort than Pila for an early intermediate. Perfect mountain for progression with quiet slopes and some decent on-mountain catering too.

The biggest 'con' of Obergurgl is eccentric piste marking, which is a real pain on poor visibility days. Otherwise, it is lovely.

I tend to look for the supersavers ticket which can be up to half price of the regular fare.
