You take the mickey about my yoga and then witter on about whether your car alloys are shiny enough.

My alloys are covered in a permanent film of brake dust and grime.

Mine have a semi matt kind of finish, shiny is a bit chav.

Take a look at the Les Arcs season thread if you want to see what the conditions are like each day. There are also links over on the Les Arcs Winter facebook page which may be of help plus loads of photos.

Thanks, i have been following the threads and FB for a while.
As for the pub, just try to keep me away!

This afternoon I am going to mainly be sitting on my driveway, taking the alloys off the merc, sanding them down and respraying them. At least its a lovely day for it.

I take it you are staying them yourself?

Mine desperately need doing but i really want to keep the same finish that most repairers seem to scoff at. They look great and i don't want them ruining buy some crap finish.

Its sad watching the web cams, the white giving way to brown and green. It won't be long before we saw all that matting becoming visible in Tignes again.
But on the bright side, of me anyhow, its one step closer to next season.
