The sun is shining this morning in Les Brevieres, so I captured another photo from the webcam, facing the dam this time :D

I think it's a good idea to check everything several weeks before - like passport and EHIC card are in date, skiwear still fits (not too fat for it), got all required insurance paperwork, tickets etc.

But I generally don't actually pack until about an hour before I leave! I just shovel everything out of my ski drawer and into my suitcase, which takes about 5 minutes :)

I had a look at that link just now, and the pistes I'm particularly interested in are the ones that go down to Les Brevieres, which are in the Aiguille Percee sector.

These are the black Sache run, the red Pavot, and the blue Myrtilles. Unfortunately they're all shut this morning, which is presumably due to the heavy snowfall in the last few days.

But there is plenty of time before this holiday, so I'm not worried ...

But my spare piste map won't do you much good because I've ordered it for my younger daughter and it's of the 3 valleys - because that's where she's heading with her uni ski club :D
