Just booked my flight to head there for a short break 1/3 - 5/3. Anyone else from J2Ski likely to be in town during that period ??

Dave

Nice one Dave

Spot on Andy the old programme was stale, But what`s with the celeb thing ? Jody Kidd heli skiing who the hell wants to watch her. The BBC could spend their budget on something more constructive IMO.

jordsbabe wrote:First of all a BIG Thank you to Everyone, all your replies have been so helpful. I would love to Ski but unfortunately 12 weeks ago i acquired a prolapse disc so daren't do anything until it has been fixed! (sounds like i could fix it with super glue lol!)

I have one more question, I have looked on the website skiset for the shop margreiter and although i can get my son's sizes for boots and ski's the minium age on their is showing as 6, does that mean we will not be able to hire them? Also their is an option to hire a helmet but it won't allow me to check the box?

Glyn, thanks for the offer, we managed to pick some ski gear up for the little one today!

Go and see Eric at the Margreiter he`ll sort you out. They cater for kids as young as 4yrs but as for a helmet you might have to book to be sure of getting one. Have you tried emailing them your details ?

Regarding lift passes. As it's been said. The Niederau passes are plastic with magnetic strip, so it's safe to place in pocket. Preferably pocket on the arm then you won't need an elasticated holder. We took holders the first time we went to Niederau and never used them. So they were a waste of money for us.

Glyn

Gone are the days when you get whacked under the chin with the elastic. Thank god for progress.
