Got a Spyder jacket from their freeride sorta line, it is nice if a bit pricey. Hate all the old school "i'm a brit with a credit card" spyder though.

What other big resorts are opening round you.. Mammoth? Any of the Tahoe hills?

Yeh good choice I guess. Ask if they still replace if em (well 80% of value back) if you are not happy with less than 2 weeks of skiing in them.

No but a friend in Canada (Level 4 CSIA instructor) skis them as his every day ski and loves them. Quite soft length ways but very torsionally stiff. These are not park skis... wouldn't recommend them for anything but "all mountain" sorta stuff.

I think it has got a bit heated.. both make good points but I am with CEM for the most part. Well fitted boots are the difference between hating skiing as a beginner and loving it-purely down to the equipment. |
