There's a train from Salzburg to Zell for about €30 which takes about an hour and then local bus for €6 ish which takes about 30mins and the bus station is just a short walk up the hill from the trains

Go to Aldi/Lidl ..they usually have good value clothes for skiing at least once or twice a season

Well I started skiing before we joined the EU and we never had any trouble going anywhere on the continent and didn't need need a visa to go to Yugoslavia which was then (semi) communist..Its all scaremongering!

after reading the reviews I would stick to the 170s... 177 is the longest they do and you are not that tall

I like Selva ..not stopped there but I have skied through it and in it may times ..There are enough runs to keep anyone happy ..get the full dolomitiski pass if you are anything above a beginner ...the sella rhonda is your first goal then the world cup run....the restaurants on the mountains are usually good value and you ca afford to eat in them ...
