I found snowball fights to be quite cheap!
Or you could buy what looks like a bin-lid (I think it's a modern sledge) from the local stores and walk up and down the gentle slopes having a whale of a time. They have also had a night-time sleigh ride up to Peningdorf which is very good especially if the night is cloudless. That is what the sky is supposed to look like when you get away from all the city neon. There is also the bummel bahn/zug that goes up the Zauberwinkl behind Jan's. Snowmen also seem to spring up when there are children around. Might be worth a trip up to the tourist office and ask what is on from them - they are usually full of ideas. But like you said - the plans may come to nothing as you may all be too exhausted to do anything else. And remember snowballs and sledging aren't just for children. |
